While you can't use these watercolor paints on glass, as they require an absorbent surface, you can use acrylic paints, although they can be tricky to achieve transparency on glass. Poster paint works, but it's temporary and will wash off with water.

When used on acid-free "archival" paper, these watercolor paints are as permanent as any other medium. However, pigments can change when exposed to light, and fading will occur. To prevent this, keep them out of direct light and protect them with a sheet of filtered glass or acrylic.

To maintain the quality of your watercolor paints, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the pans or tubes tightly closed to prevent them from drying out.
